Octet Victoria is delighted to be collaborating once again with Victoria Baroque to showcase beloved Bach Motets. Join us to experience a heart-lifting program of beloved compositions for voices and instruments by the Bach family, centered around J.S. Bach’s Jesu meine Freude. This is music to treasure with gratitude – a perfect addition to Thanksgiving celebrations.
You can see the programme here.

Octet Victoria will be joined by an additional eight singers to form an expanded choir of sixteen to present motets by Johannes Brahms and James MacMillan. The concert will be conducted by Char Hodgkins and David Stratkauskas.

Octet Victoria returns to Wentworth Villa to share staples of festive choral repertoire to usher in the holiday season.

Join Octet Victoria for an inspiring evening of a cappella music featuring Francis Poulenc’s chamber cantata “Un soir de neige” along with works by Joanna Marsh, Benjamin Britten, Olivier Messiaen and others. The music and poetry for this concert embrace the cold beauty of winter, and the excitement of snow, wind, and storms.
